Steer Davies Gleave is pleased to announce the appointment of Alberto Preti, who joins our Italian office in Bologna as an Associate. Alberto is an economist with significant expertise in the management and coordination of complex national and international transport projects.
For the last nine years, Alberto has led the Bologna branch of the Institute for Transport and Logistics, with the mandate of supporting a number of regional and local stakeholders in transport consultancy and in the preparation of funding requests to the European Commission. In his role, he successfully delivered numerous high value EU projects (circa 1 to 5 million euros). These projects included INTERREG, HORIZON 2020, IEE, CIP, 7FP, Leonardo, Erasmus +.
Alberto has a deep understanding of EU funding in transport and experience of setting up and managing large partnerships formed by many different organizations across the EU, including local public authorities, research institutes, transport services operators and infrastructure managers, set in the different EU Member States.
At Steer Davies Gleave, Alberto will lead the coordination of a team set to provide technical assistance and consultancy services to public and private organizations benefiting from EU funds targeted at the transport sector in Italy and across different EU Member States.
