Steer Davies Gleave is delighted to welcome back Steven Bishop who re-joins us from the Cabinet Office where he has spent the last 15 months as Senior Policy Advisor to the Cities Policy Unit, and subsequently, the Cities & Local Growth Unit. Steven advised on the development and implementation of the City Deal and Growth Deal agenda, leading on cross-policy deal development for many Local Enterprise Partnerships and on transport policy across all Local Enterprise Partnership areas.
Steven brings considerable experience from the UK, North America and the Middle East in the realm of local and central government policy, particularly across integrated transport, land use and economic planning.
Sharon Daly, Head of Planning at Steer Davies Gleave said, “Steven joins at an exciting time for SDG’s planning team with an increasing number of studies looking at the importance of sustainable development, economic generation and transport planning. Steven’s recent City Deal and Growth Deal experience, combined with our growing transport economics understanding, presents an added dimension to our existing capability in this market”
