Steer Davies Gleave has been continuously recognised as one of the top 100 companies for graduates to work for in the UK, by careers website The Job Crowd. The 2016/17 results proved no different, with the company being shortlisted for Best Consultancy for Graduates to work for. We are also ranking in the Top 20 of the general list, our highest position yet, placing us alongside high profile names such as Microsoft, Asda and Volkswagen.
The Top 100 Companies for Graduates to Work for is a unique ranking as it is based on recent graduate employee feedback. This means that the companies are listed based on the feedback of actual graduate employees and as The Job Crowd states “These are the companies who are really, truly, the best places to work.”
Companies are ranked on various aspects of their company set up and graduate roles including work/life balance, career progression, training opportunities and company culture. SDG received high rankings in all categories with highest ratings for colleagues, company culture and training opportunities. Graduates shared positive feedback on the best things about their job which included “The work environment is sociable and friendly which makes it enjoyable to work here”, “Variety of interesting, challenging and meaningful projects” and the graduate scheme’s “… great balance of training and on-the-job learning.”
Steer Davies has been successfully running a graduate programme for over 12 years and this is the sixth consecutive year that we have been recognised as a top workplace for graduates.
