Steer is delighted to have been named one of only 12 organisations to achieve a gold award in this year’s 4th annual The TIDEmark (Talent, Inclusion, and Diversity Evaluation) benchmarking process conducted by enei (employers network for equality and inclusion).
The TIDE, enei's self-assessment evaluation and benchmarking tool, assesses and benchmarks an organisation's approach to and progress on diversity and inclusion (D&I) in the following areas: workforce, strategy and plan, leadership and accountability, recruitment and attraction, training and development, communication and engagement, and much more.
Only the very best performing organisations receive the Gold TIDE award. This TIDEmark enables organisations to track their progress in equality, diversity, and inclusion practises over time and in comparison to their peers.
Craig Ferguson, Head of People at Steer, said: "This award doesn't mean that our EDI goals have been achieved. On the contrary, we recognise we have a lot to do on our EDI journey to be truly representative of the communities in which we work, and in many aspects, are just beginning. However, this award signifies that we are putting our efforts into the right activities to help us get where we want to be. Our priority is thinking about how we can accelerate our progress in a sustainable way."
enei is the UK’s leading employer network covering all aspects of equality and inclusion in the workplace, helping over 330 organisations on their diversity journey. Steer has been a proud member of enei since 2016. Find out more about our EDI commitment.
