Sonia has a total of 19 years’ experience in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory, due diligence engagements (financial and commercial), valuation and financial modelling across diversified sectors including infrastructure, technology, automotive (including e-mobility), transport and aviation. She has worked across geographies including the UK, EU and APAC.
Before joining Steer, Sonia worked in the Global Delivery Office for EY, advising on transactions up to a value of €1.5billion. She supported Renault and Mercedes-Benz with the rollout strategy of their EV fleets. She has also advised on the acquisition of assets including e-mobility solution platforms providing mobility as a service (MaaS), such as green mobility, AI and autonomous driving solutions) and software as a service (SaaS) alongside business modelling and feasibility studies. She has also worked with energy management software solution organisations such as Johnson Controls and Schneider Electric.
At Steer, Sonia is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including client liaison, report delivery, stakeholder sessions, presentations and transaction price negotiations. She is particularly experienced in traffic and revenue studies and commercial due diligence in the e-mobility and infrastructure sectors. Sonia is also experienced in financial modelling and data analysis and is continuing to develop Steer’s ESG Investment Advisory capability.
