New Mobility

The way that people travel is changing. Technology is disrupting transport faster than ever before – new products, services, and business models are changing the way people and goods move around and between our cities, towns and rural communities. Navigating these changes effectively is important to maximise the potential benefits of more efficient, lower emission, safer and personalised services and minimise risks such as increased congestion, carbon emissions, air pollution and inequalities.

Our New Mobility team work closely with a wide range of public and private sector clients to plan, develop, implement and monitor projects across the following key areas of New Mobility:

New mobility services

People first, technology second

We believe that behind every technology and innovation, there are people who use it. As such, user experience is at the centre of our approach and thinking. We are passionate about how new technologies can help shape our urban and rural environments for the better, integrating and complementing existing public transport and active travel, as well as digital and energy systems.

How we can help you

We help public planners, investors, private operators and others to plan for, develop and implement new transport technologies and services. Our expertise is based on a deep understanding of user behaviour and the factors which help or hinder the adoption of new technologies, enabling us to build an evidence base to inform planning and implementation of new products and services. Our core offer includes:

Magnifying glass icon Market research and analysis: broad expertise produces broad answers. Our team of strategists, researchers and analysts provide expert analysis of the market potential of innovative mobility products and services.
Review Regulatory review and tender support: we are independent and truly impartial with no external stakeholders, which allows us to provide unbiased support to both public and private sector clients.
Strategy Strategy development: we help organisations including government, local authorities, property developers, transport operators and OEMs to shape their vision and strategies for New Mobility services.

Planning

Planning and implementation: across the world, we are constantly finding new and better ways to meet our clients' needs and implement New Mobility schemes combining our local knowledge with global best practice.
Strategy Monitoring and evaluation: we provide specialist advice and support with monitoring and evaluation of New Mobility services and schemes.

Our team is based across our global network of offices and, through delivering projects internationally, we have developed extensive experience in providing informed advice and support to our clients.
