Viviana is a Civil Engineer with an MSc. in Transport Planning and more than 12 years of professional experience working in transport consultancy. Viviana's expertise focuses on providing advice to public and private sector clients to understand and capture the potential economic, environmental and social benefits of implementing new mobility and sustainability-related projects.

At Steer, Viviana leads the New Mobility and active transport teams in Latin America and works closely with the teams across the company in developing this new and exciting market. Her experience is built on a wide variety of transport projects in different geographies in Latin America and the UK. More recently, she has been focusing on delivering successful projects where disruptive transportation technologies can help cities decrease their private vehicles dependency, reduce petrol usage, and achieve their sustainability and environmental goals.

Viviana has led most of the active transport projects delivered by Steer in Latin America, some of which include the design of bike-share systems, feasibility studies to implement electric mobility in Central America, the development of technological platforms to engage users towards sustainable modes of transport and the development of analytical tools for planning infrastructure networks for active modes in cities.
