After 40 years, we have changed our name from Steer Davies Gleave to ‘Steer’ to mark our continuing growth and diversity as a business.
The decision to rename reflects the Company’s growing international footprint and expanding portfolio into sectors beyond transport, including fuel, power and economic development. It is important that transport remains at the core of our business, but we have broadened our offer to help clients realise value within our changing landscape.
Although our name has changed, some other things haven’t. We continue to embrace our legacy of providing impartial, objective and results-driven advice. We are still truly independent, with no external shareholders, and remain wholly dedicated to providing clients with smart-thinking grounded in expertise.
Our CEO Hugh Jones says: “We are delighted to announce our name change. Our new name and brand draws depth and strength from our achievements and pedigree, and illuminates the Company we are today, what we stand for and our future as a growing and diverse company with services spanning infrastructure, cities and transport.
It marks an important point in our history. For over 40-years we have provided impartial, objective and results-driven advice. As Steer, we continue to strive for excellence in the transport sector, while celebrating our expansion into new and evolving markets.”
